SHB Soccer Club

 

The SHBSC provides professional soccer training for boys and girls centered on the core principle of building the mental and physical health of the first young generation of immigrants from middle east, East Africa, and East Asia.

About the Program

The Somali Health Board Soccer Club (SHBSC) was established in 2018. It is a continuation of the Companion Athletics soccer club that was founded in 2015. The SHBSC provides professional soccer training for boys and girls in the greater south Seattle area and Tukwilla. The program is centered to core principle of building the mental and physical health being of the first young generation of immigrants from middle east, East Africa, and East Asia. The central training ground for the SHB Soccer Club is in Tukwilla. The Vision of the program is to provide professional training to immigrant players so that they can have their place and compete in high school and college sporting events.

About the Coach

My name is Abdirahman Siraad. I am the Head Coach of the SHB Soccer Club. I have been involved with soccer since I was a school boy. I have have been involved with the beautiful in all aspects of it. I currently hold the United States Soccer Federation License E for Coaching and I am also a state referee registered under United States Soccer Referee Federation. I Started to referee the beautiful game when I was in High School. Besides soccer, I hold a civil/environmental engineering degree from Seattle University. I have passion for the environment and trees. On my free time I like to do environmental experiments and gardening.
