Supporting elder Somali women through health education and low-impact exercise.
Systems & Policy
One of the greatest challenges impacting communities of color and limited English proficiency (LEP) communities in King County is our lack of access to decision-making bodies and lack of meaningful representation in our government.
Whole Child Initiative
Providing outreach, training, and consultation/technical assistance to Somali Licensed Family Home Child Care providers. Our program aims to work on bridging the gaps between early learning and child health to help children meet their full potential.
Youth Empowerment
Fostering a safer community by promoting non-violent conflict resolution, providing academic support, and empowering the younger generation to consider the impact of their choices on the future.
